I found this article on my Facebook feed this morning and thought I’d pass it along to you.

“15 Things That Emotionally Strong People Don’t Do,” by Paul Hudson, is a quick look at some of the “habits” we should have to remain strong. And if we don’t have them, they’re easy enough to implement.

Bruce Lipton, Health, Love, Manifestation, Subconscious

From Bruce Lipton’s “What are Your Perceptions Today?”

“…the belief that one has “bad genes” can itself actually create a “bad” protein from a good gene. Also, the “belief” that “I cannot heal myself” can also interfere with our own ability to heal our selves. The problem…we rarely observe our own subconscious behaviors, therefore we almost never understand that we [are] unknowingly engaging in behaviors that are limiting and self-sabotaging to our biology.  Because we are unaware of these behaviors, when we have problems in health and relationships we rarely do we recognize that we were involved with creating them.”

An excerpt from A Healing Tool That Most Doctors Have Forgotten, by Nick Polizzi on The Sacred Science

Have you ever had a strange feeling that…

– A loved one was in trouble
– You needed to eat a specific food or take a certain herb or supplement
– There was something unsafe or otherwise “off” about a certain person or place

…that ended up being spot-on?

Bruce Lipton, Changes, Vibrations

From Bruce Lipton’s blog, Biology of Belief.

Excerpt from What Kind of Vibes are you Feeling Today?

Have you ever visited someone’s house and thought—“Wow, it’s so beautiful, it feels so peaceful, I love this house.” That’s a house that resonates well with the energy of its occupants and with your energy as well. Or you visited someone else’s house and thought, “What’s up with that flocked wall paper? Oh my god, how could they have put that on the wall?” That house does not match your energy and its occupants no doubt don’t either.

I don’t know why I hadn’t thought to look for Bruce Lipton’s blog before now. Shameful!

In my review of Joe Dispenza’s You Are the Placebo, I mentioned Bruce and provided links to some of his teachings. Now, we have a blog to add to that list.  🙂

Here’s an excerpt from a recent post of his entitled “What is Epigenetics?”

Instead of the widely held, largely deterministic belief among biologists about genetics, namely, that our genes “control” or “determine” us, it is rather the case that our genes respond to cues in their environment, such as one’s experience and perception of, or beliefs regarding your own life.

An article by Sara Childre, President, Institute of HeartMath

Now and then we all take a moment to look at the life we are living and daydream about how our futures will look. So, take one of those moments right now, and rather than “thinking” about what the future might look like based on your life as it is now, do the following:

Look as deeply as you can into your heart and visualize the future you’ve always truly desired, the one that fills your heart with joy whenever you imagine it.

In that simple exercise, you have glimpsed what HeartMath calls your heart blueprint.

Excerpt from “Be Who You Want to Be by Realizing You’re Not Who You Think,” by Melinda Csikos, posted on Tiny Buddha.

I believe we all go through dark phases when our image of ourselves breaks and we start thinking less of ourselves. This phase can pass after some time if we let it, but if we insist on clinging to the picture of ourselves in our minds, it will be harder to get through it.

The good news is: you are whoever you choose to be.

It’s not a coincidence that all the great spiritual masters spoke about detaching from our thoughts. Our thoughts do not represent reality. We are the ones who choose to believe that they are real, when, in fact, they have nothing to do with reality.

No matter what situation life presents us, we can always choose to view ourselves the way we want.

You can either view yourself as a victim or as the hero who lived through all the controversy. It’s all a matter of perspective.

The Power of Meditation and How It Affects Our Brains
By Belle Beth Cooper

Ever since my dad tried to convince me to meditate when I was about 12, I’ve been fairly skeptical of this practice. It always seemed to be so vague and hard to understand that I just decided it wasn’t for me.
