From Bruce Lipton’s “What are Your Perceptions Today?”
“…the belief that one has “bad genes” can itself actually create a “bad” protein from a good gene. Also, the “belief” that “I cannot heal myself” can also interfere with our own ability to heal our selves. The problem…we rarely observe our own subconscious behaviors, therefore we almost never understand that we [are] unknowingly engaging in behaviors that are limiting and self-sabotaging to our biology. Because we are unaware of these behaviors, when we have problems in health and relationships we rarely do we recognize that we were involved with creating them.”
Read his entire post (it’s a short one).

So sadly true, Michael. Yet behaviors are not irreversible. Beliefs, self-created or otherwise, are powerful.
Your sharing Lipton’s view here is helpful and appreciated. Thank you.

I agree, Eric. Nothing we believe is written in stone. Everything is changeable, if we only look at the options.

Epigenetics has captured my attention to be sure. I’m reading Joe Dispenza’s ‘You are the Placebo’ and it is SO interesting. Good stuff!

Thank you Michael for sharing.. I will share what comment I left
“Great message.. We store so much of learned behaviours within us from such a young age.. Its hard to break the cycle of pre-programmed thought patterns that are passed down from parents to children, and through various cultures.. But once you are able to alter your perception and SEE how we have limited ourselves via our thinking… Once we open up our awareness and LOOK outside the Box we then can see we are creators and are creating all the time our outcomes .. Just getting people to open up their minds and learn that their thoughts create their experiences can be the first hurdle to overcome..
Many thanks for sharing…”
Blessings sent your way.. As we learn to let go of what holds us back.. 🙂

Thankfully Bruce woke up while he was doing some very boring experiments… he discovered some very amazing facts about biology that eluded science for hundreds of years!

Interesting…the idea that is most prevalent when i read this article was the process of DE programming. UN learning what you have been programmed to believe. often it starts with one behavior at a time. its no easy feat but it sure is worth it.

You’re right, Nikki, it’s not easy. Beginning with one at a time is a great starting point. It builds skills to tackle another, then another, and so on. Given time (and practice), we have to get good at reprogramming ourselves. It’s not only do-able, but the rewards are ever lasting.
Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
